First shot of the day, 37406 is seen returning down the branch with 1Z37 heading through Hillfoot Next along the coast at Bowling with 37406 still leading heading west. 37406 is seen heading 1Z37 into Helensburgh - the end of the line 37410 is seen at Helensburgh about to return into Glasgow with 1Z37 One of the better shots of the day, 37410 is seen leading 1Z37 back through Craigendoran 37406 now, heading through Langbank towards Gourock (pity about the stupid idiot photographer on the platform) The going away shot at Langbank, this time without any inconsiderate photographers (if you can can him that) in the way. 37410 leading 1Z74 round the curve at Muirhouse, which is normally just the preserve of a couple of ECS workings each day. 37410 sits at the red signal waiting for the road at Muirhouse sth junct. Spot the photogapher on the bridge, you know who you are !!!! Mabye not the best shot of the day but certainly the best noise. 37410 powers up the hill through Giffnock with 1Z74 The going away shot at Giffnock aint bad either 37406 coasts back down from East Kilbride heading through Thorntonhall 37410 brings up the rear at Thorntonhall. When was the last time a loco hauled passenger train was on this branch ? 37406 sits at the buffers at Lanark after depositing it's load of happy railtourers Another shot of 37406 at Lanark, I appologise for the rain spots on the lens but it gives you some idea how awful the weather was. The last shot of the day, 37410 sits beyond the signal waiting to head to Wemyss Bay with the next leg. After this, it was off home to defrost !
